Preseason 2022-23 is under way

Having taken their routine medicals in the morning, the players then got straight down to work in the early evening with their first training session of the new season on the Tito Vilanova field at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. A number of fitness exercises to warm the players back into action were combined with other work with the ball, all conducted under the intense Catalonian heat of early July. It all started at 7.00 pm local time, involving the same 23 players that had reported for duty in the morning (the players that had international fixtures at the end of the last season will be getting an extra week of vacation). Work continues on Tuesday with an early session at 9.00 am CEST, and another in the evening, again at 7.00 pm CEST.
