Over a hundred children from the Florida and NY summer campuses have enjoyed training and feeling like a player in the Barça youth system this week. From last Monday through to this Sunday, they have been training on the Ciutat Esportiva pitches with coaches from the Barça Escola. Furthermore, they will take part in a tournament this weekend against local clubs and can see how they are progressing as a footballer.

There was a big surprise on Thursday when everyone got to meet Swedish men's first team player Roony Bardghji and three Barça Women players in Aïcha Camara, Alba Caño and Txell Font. They were able to take photos and spend time speaking with the Barça players.

Catalan experiences

It wasn't all football during their week in Barcelona though, as the children and their families were able to enjoy all there is to offer in and around Barcelona. They visited Montserrat and left in awe of how majestic the mountain is, as well as visiting the Barça Museum and of course the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.

Weekend finale

On Saturday they will be able to cheer on Hansi Flick and the team at the Spotify Camp Nou when Barça welcome Alavés for the LaLiga matchday 14 fixture. Over 300 people will be able to enjoy the second match back at the stadium after the 4-0 victory over Athletic Club last Saturday.
