The Palau Blaugrana was the venue for the presentation of the 2025/26 season for the Barça Escola Barcelona in football, basketball, handball and futsal. Benny Megreli, Barça academy global director, began proceedings in front of the families of the students at the blaugrana home to the Club's professional sports. 

The presentation was made in two different groups. First was the turn of the Barça Escola multisport area with manager Paco Díaz welcoming the families before explaining the developement of the basketball, handball and futsal schools with th help of Oriol Grau. The coordinators of the three sports were all present at the event as well as Nacho Solozabal and Roberto Dueñas, basketball assessors and former Barça players with the jerseys retired at the Palau Blaugrana.

Football next 

Once the multisport presentation was complete it was the turn of the football area of the Barça Escola. After Benny Megreli's introduction highlighting the potential of the project and the importance of the Barcelona site as the backbone of the Academy network across the globe, it was the turn of Sergi Barjuan, the sporting director of the Barça Academy. The fomer Barça player and coach explained his high hopes regarding even further improvement at the Barça Escola Barcelona this season. 

For his part, Albert Pujol, director of the Barça Escola Barcelona, explained the basis behind the methodology used on the teams that are involved at the site in Barcelona and the way of understanding the game on a global level. 

Both presentations ended with a photograph of all the coaches together, no better way to start the 2025/26 season at the Barça Escola Barcelona.
