Barça Legends came out on top in Georgia against a Geo XI, a team made up of local ex-players, wining 3-1 after falling behind in the first half. Two goals from Javi Saviola and first Legends goal for Jonathan Soriano were enough to take the win in a game in which Ronaldinho dazzled despite not finding the net. 

Early Litmanen goal ruled out 

In the Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi Ronaldinho's every touch was cheered on by the local fans. The Brazilian conjured up a chance for Jari Litmanen which the Finn took only for the referee's assistant to disallow the goal for a dubious offside. Sergi Barjuan went close for Barça and keeper Angoy made a good save to deny the home side as chances came for both sides early on. 

The first goal of the game came from the Georgians when Navalovski headed his side in front on 24 minutes. Nevertheless, just 10 minutes later Saviola finished off a good move involving Fernando Navarro and, of course, Ronaldinho. 

Masip's debut and Jonathan Soriano's goal  

All square at half time and after the break goalkeeper Jordi Masip made his debut for the Barça Legends. Another first came with Jonathan Soriano's debut strike for the team on 56 minutes to put the Legends 2-1 up. 

More than 50,000 fans in the stadium were able to enjoy another strike from the Legends when Soriano turned provided to set up Saviola for his second of the game on 72 minutes. With the game in the bag, Ronaldinho delighted the crowd with his bag of tricks up until his substitution on 80 minutes to a rapturous ovation. Another great day of football with no little talent on show from the Barça Legends.
