Once again this year, players from the different Barça Academy sites around the world were able to enjoy the experience of training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Players from the Barça Academy Pro Miami and Barça Academy Budapest as well as participants from the campuses organised by Barça Residency Academy Arizona, Barça Academy Mexico and Barça Academy USA spent a week living the life of the youngsters who are part of the youth football set up at FC Barcelona. Furthermore, they were able to test their skills playing against local teams and also measure their progress. 

Taking advantage of the 125th anniversary celebrations, the participants and their families were able to see Hansi Flick's team in action not once but twice. The young footballers saw the Champions League game against Brest and the La Liga clash against Las Palmas at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Those taking part were also able to have a unique Barça experience by travelling in the official first team coach and the delegations from Mexico and Miami enjoyed a farewell dinner at the Barça Museum. 

Surprise from the first team 

The players from Arizona, Miami, Mexico and Budapest also had the chance to meet Barça midfield lynchpin Marc Casadó and have their photographs taken with him. Furthermore, Hungarian goalkeeper and Barça U19 player Áron Yaakobishvili took the chance to visit the party from Budapest to give them words of encouragement on the dream of one day reaching the Barça first team.
