The Barça Academy family continues to grow

The Barça Academy Campus now takes place in 26 new cities

The summer is a good moment to take part in sport and to do so following the Barça methodology is even better. The summer campuses organised by FC Barcelona all around the world at this time of year now see 26 new cities added to the list of venues for the Barça Escola project. 

20 cities have adopted the Barça methodology through hosting a blaugrana football campus. In Asia Barça coaches are now at work in Taipei (Taiwan) and Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia). In Australia two new campuses have been set in Newcastle and on the Gold Coast. 

Ansofagasta (Chile), Minga Guazú (Paraguay), Valencia (Venzuela) and Cuenca (Ecuador) host campuses in South America and in the US, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara and Alburquerque can also be added to the list. 

In Europe  Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Bar (Montenegro), Jönköping (Sweden), Dijon (France), Saint Louis (France), Mouscron (Belgium) now have a campus as do Ibiza, Gijón and Sahagún in Spain. 

Multisport campuses

The campuses are not limited to football with Barça also exporting their methodology in basketball, handball and futsal. In Mexico the cities of Morelia, Querétaro and Puebla hold basketball campuses with Berlin doing the same in Germany. 

In Vilnius in Lithuania there has been a Barça handball campus whilst in Tampere in Finland a futsal campus has also been held.
