Former French international and World Cup winner at Russia 2018 Blaise Matuidi is enjoying his time at the Barça Academy World Cup presented by Allianz. It is taking place on the pitches at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and Matuidi is there with his family to cheer on his son Eden who is part of the Barça Academy Pro Miami Under-8 side.

The French midfielder spent many seasons at both Paris Saint Germain and Juventus before ending his career recently at Inter Miami. His son Eden, who plays in midfield and at fullback, has spent two years playing and learning the FC Barcelona playing style and methodology at the Barça Academy Pro Miami, which along with the one in New York, is one of only two football schools managed entirely in the United States of America.
