We have started our Barça Academy Pathway College Program with all our u16 players. The program is led by our Technical Coordinator Gerard Vilanova.

In our first technical meeting, we explained how the recruiting process works, and the details of all the college governing organizations, their eligibility, the scholarships, and the conferences. We counted on a special attendee, our current coach, and student-athlete at FIU Women’s soccer team, Laia Muñoz. Laia was a great support and example for our players.

Also, as part of the program, on Wednesday we attended the Division 1 game and the South Florida rivalry between FIU and FAU Men’s soccer teams. A great scenario for all our players to watch and feel what a college game can look like

This was the 1 st session out of 5 that we are going to do as part of the BARÇA Academy Pathway College Program during the 2022-23 season.
