This week, 300 people from 35 penyes in the Castilla-La Mancha region celebrated theit 8th annual gala.

Antonio Escudero, vice.president of FC Barcelona, was in Almagro, Ciudad Real, the town that hosted the event on Saturday 17 December, where members of the movement received prizes in recognition of the work they have been doing this year.

Former players Ricardo Serna and Julio Alberto Moreno were also there, as was ex-futsal goalkeeper Paco Sedano. The host federation was chiefly represented by its president and delegate Daniel Peinado.

Prizes galore

The winners of prizes were as follows:

• Best Director: José Manuel Lozano, secretary of the Agrupación de Peñas de Castilla-La Mancha and president of the Peña Barcelonista Villal-Barça
• Best Penyista: Jose Enrique Nogué Garcia, of Peña Barcelonista de Almagro
• Best Penya: Peña Barcelonista Ciudad de la Cuchillería 
• Tito Vilanova Prize: Almagro women's futsal team
• Bodegas Iniesta Prize: José Manuel Lozano

After the prizes were handed out, there were speeches by all the main representatives, and a festive toast wishing all the best of fortune to the team in what remains of the season.
