The Barça Academy project is going to be operating on five continents again this winter, as Barça Academy Camps are returning to Australia in conjunction with a new partner, Akaw Sports. This means that FC Barcelona’s sports school will again offer Australian boys and girls the opportunity to learn how to play football under the Club’s methodology and values during a week of activities. 

Barça Academy Camps Australia 2022-23 will add to the over one hundred events held each year worldwide. The host cities will be Adelaide (Ellis Park, 9-13/01/2023), Melbourne (La Trobe University, 16-20/01/2023) and Sydney (Arc Sports UNSW, 23-27/01/2023). Hopefully they will prove the first step towards re-establishing continuous activities in the region.  

With this announcement, the Barça Academy project is again operating in over 35 countries worldwide, bringing the famed FC Barcelona playing style and values to more than 25,000 boys and girls each year. The Barça Academy has 30 projects permanently operating in countries such as the United States of America (8 Barça Academy), Japan (5) and India (4).
