On his comeback appearance, Corey Higgins scored a vital basket in the final throws of the game to hand Barça a spectacular comeback win 74-72 away at Río Breogán. The victory means that the blaugranes are assured of first place in the regular season in the domestic league.

Brandon Davies was the star performer with Àlex Abrines not far behind scoring 20 points.

Off their game early on

The home side started the better and the blaugranes found it hard to get going. Río were 26-15, propelled by four three pointers from Kalinoski in the first quarter.

In the second quarter Barça continued to struggle in the Pazo dos Deportes in Lugo and Río stretched their lead to 48-30 at half time.

The final quarter save the day

In the second half little by little, Saras Jasikevicius' team pulled themselves back into the contest. Going into the final quarter, however, they were still 66-52 behind with the win seeming unlikely.

Nevertheless, the blaugranes showed great character in adversity and the final period comeback allows them to end the ACB season in first place.
