The Barça Escola Indoor Football is the official indoor football school of FC Barcelona open to boys and girls between 6 and 12 years old, and aiming to provide players with the basic concepts of indoor football to face future sporting challenges with guarantees of success. We also transmit the values ​​that FC Barcelona embody: humility, effort, ambition, respect and teamwork.

All players train 2 days a week and play matches every 15 days. In addition to these internal league matches, the players have the option of participating in different matches and tournaments that are organized during the course.

ORGANIZATION AND METHODOLOGY

The Barça Escola Indoor Football consists of 3 stages depending on the age of the students:

• Initiation (6 to 8 years)
• Formation (8 to 10 years)
• Pre-competition (10 to 12 years)

Working groups are formed with a maximum of 12 to 14 players per team, in order to enjoy greater participation during the sessions.

The Barça Escola Indoor Football follows the same training methodology as the youth indoor football coaching teams of FC Barcelona. There are two coaches for each group and coordinators who supervise the smooth functioning of the training sessions and the activities linked to the Barça Escola Barcelona.

CALENDAR

The Barça Escola Indoor Football year starts during the month of September and ends in the month of June, mirroring the regular school calendar.

TRAINING DAYS AND INTERNAL LEAGUE

Training sessions at the Barça Escola Indoor Football take place 2 afternoons a week, depending on which slot each team is assigned. The internal league is played every 15 days on Sunday mornings.

• Training timetable: From 6pm to 7pm or from 7pm to 8pm.

FACILITIES

• The training sessions take place at the Indoor Parquet Court at the INEFC in Barcelona.
• Match days are played at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, in Sant Joan Despí.

WHO CAN ENROLL IN THE BARÇA ESCOLA INDOOR FOOTBALL?

To join the Barça Escola Indoor Football, each child must pass our tryouts. And it is also essential that the family and the player be residents of Catalonia.

FRIENDLIES, TOURNAMENTS, AND GAMES

Apart from the internal league of the Barça Escola Indoor Football that takes place on, there are also other activities, friendlies and competitive and educational games.

These are matches played by the Barça Escola Indoor Football teams with different clubs from all over the Catalan territory. These friendly matches, tournaments and competitions are held both at the club's facilities and outside.

The formats of these days can vary and the Barça Escola Indoor Football participates with full teams or combinations of players.
