FC Barcelona star Eric García has visited a group of 60 athletes who have arrived from the club’s different Barça Academies and summer camps in the United States who are currently enjoying a Barça Academy Clinic at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. 

The 20-year-old centre back posed for photos with the youngsters and also got the chance to say a few words to them, encouraging them to continue playing the sport and work hard to get better every day. 

The coaches reminded the players that a decade ago, Eric García was just one more kid at Barça Escola Barcelona, just like them in the international equivalent, who later realised his dream of entering the regular youth structure at La Masia and last summer eventually became part of the FC Barcelona first team.

The youngsters, who are arrived from San Antonio, New Orleans, Memphis, Orlando and Columbus, are are here to enjoy a 100% Barça experience with different training sessions at the Ciutat Esportiva and visits to some of the city’s major sights, including the Camp Nou Tour.
