Barça Academy Delhi player makes India Book of Records

7-year-old Karunavataram Dhyani nanaged 146 touches with both legs in just 60 seconds

7-year-old Karunavataram Dhyani of the Barça Academy Delhi has just been included in “The India Book of Records” after breaking the record for juggling a football with both legs. The youngster, who has been at the FC Barcelona school in the capital of his country for three years managed 146 touches in just 60 seconds, even more than the 137 he made last year.

Dhyani is at the Barça Academy Delhi in Noida, one of the six schools in and around the city. His coaches say that Karuna “is a real example of dedication and constancy, in three years with us he has never missed a single session.”  

As well as this record for his ball skills, he also won “The Football Delhi – Talent Hunt” in the 7-year-old category.

Barça Academy is in four Indian cities, namely Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune at a total of 19 centres where more than 1,600 kids are learning to play football by the club’s own style and methodology.
